AFM Competitive Fencing Camps are an exceptional opportunity for competitive foil and epée youth/cadet and junior fencers to train intensively under the guidance of world class coaches. Campers will improve their physical condition; strengthen fencing technique and hone tactical skills in the Bay Area’s newest facility.

These camps are designed to provide mid-season specialized training for foil and epee fencers who want to improve their game in the current competitive season.
AFM coaches are dedicated to see that each fencer is challenged to do their best and reach their top performance and maximization of their fencing skills, which will result in achieving better results in the following training and competitions.

This 2 weeks camp is designed to provide the best possible preparation for fencers competing in Summer National Championship and July North America Cup. Athletes will experience intensive immersion in fencing, honing specific techniques, strategies and tactics, in numerous bouts and tournaments and engaging in mental training for success. The entire camp is conducted to ensure that fencers reach peak readiness in time for the most important competition of the year.
Coaches will work with each participant individually to improve their fencing skills and provide constructive feedback on technique and on-strip strategies to help athletes adjust their game during fencing bouts. Each athlete will be challenged to think critically and develop approaches and methods to improve their own fencing performance and empower themselves in competition and their training afterwards.

This camp is designed to provide the best possible preparation to youth/cadet/junior fencers at the start of the 2015-2016 fencing season.
This camp will provide intensive conditioning with emphasis on special fencing related aspects of physical strength, speed, flexibility and endurance. This is ideal intensive training opportunity for competitive fencers to help them prepare for local, regional and national level competitions that start in September 2015.
Coaches will work with each participant to improve their fencing skills and get back to their competitive edge at the start of the new season. Each athlete will be challenged to think critically and develop approaches and methods to improve their fencing performance and empower themselves in competition and their own training afterwards.
